Nestled in child-friendly landscapes and lush garden, the school campus is easily accessible, completely enclosed and secure with more than 2 acres of land which ensures quality education and is a safe haven for the students. The building of Atmiya Vidya Niketan has a unique modern architecture and is ergonomically designed to suit needs of children for space light and facilities are tailored to their size and capabilities.
Digital Classrooms:
We provide the smart classroom technology to reach each and every student with different level of learning equally. We have digitally well equip classroom to encourage the education by opening doors to digital teaching and learning methods for both students and teachers to invoke interest in education.
Play Ground:
Playground of AVN provide the opportunity for children to practice skills that ultimately plays a role in adult competencies such as the ability to collaborate with others. While kids explore school playground they are building important life skills that will eventually help children become effective thinkers, leaders and collaborators.
Auditorium:
AVN has a well-equipped auditorium with a seating capacity of over 800 people. The auditorium is spacious, well ventilated and has well-furnished halls. A regular venue for conferences, workshops and seminars, this auditorium has all the facilities to enhance the learning process and is a vast space that serves the varied requirements of quality education.
Hall Of Fame:
Hall of Fame is a structure housing memorial to famous or illustrious individuals usually chosen by a group of electors. Hall of Fame provides a variety of school and teacher programs that address national and state curriculum standards in language arts, music, science, social studies, and visual art. Interactive programs, workshops, lesson guides, online resources, and guided and self-guided tours are offered to students and teachers.
Library:
The library provides many children with their first chance to use and enjoy a library. The school library is a welcoming place for study and reading. The school library is to support the students and teachers by providing access to current, adequate and appropriate information resources. It is also to ensure that all the students, teachers and staff are effectively using the ideas and information. General Information. Elevators provide great safety to students. First concerns what goes on inside the elevator and second who can access the elevator once the doors close. Senior Science Lab:
To explore the Senior Science Lab, a specialty of laboratory where our students gain a lot of knowledge and understanding regarding various scientific experiments to interact directly with the material world. Safety in the science lab is imperative, not only is the basic fundamental but also a vital for teacher as well as students.
Math’s Lab:
School has established a well-equipped Mathematics Laboratory. Mathematics needs to be learnt with a sense of joy and delight. Mathematics laboratory is a place to enjoy mathematics through informal exploration. It’s a place where anyone can generate problems and struggle to get answer. The maths lab acts as a platform for the students to discover mathematics through doing. It encourages to become autonomous learners. The laboratory gives greater scope for individual participation .It provides opportunity to students to understand and appreciate the application of mathematics in their real life situations.
Computer lab:
Well-designed and separate computer labs for kids and older children, run by a well-educated and qualified faculty, with one-on-one access, which means there is one computer for each child. Pre – primary kids learn words through PowerPoint presentations and innovative software. We have LCD monitors that are easier on eyes, generate less heat and consume less power thereby keeping the classroom atmosphere comfortable for children.
Dance and Music Studio:
At Atmiya Vidya Niketan School, we recognize the importance that creative arts have in the life of all pupils. We combine the subjects of Art, Music, Dance, Movement and Drama to form a comprehensive and exciting approach to developing all pupils’ creativity that builds on their strengths and interests. Music is a powerful, unique form of communication that can change the way pupils feel. Through artistic media, pupils express their understanding of the world around them and their own internal world. We encourage our pupils to express themselves and their individuality through Dance and drama .Auditory processing skill is developed through it.
Creative corner:
Every child has a unique learning pathway. We acknowledge each pathway and work to develop each child with a curriculum that addresses the whole child. Our play-based curriculum puts the needs of children first and foremost. The learning experiences that our teachers design take both the needs and interests of students. We strive to provide hands-on learning activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, discovery and problem solving skills.
Art & Craft Room:
In this room the work of the students is made available for public viewing. We showcase the colourful paintings, drawings, sculptures, photographs, prints and carvings produced by the students in all year groups. A special focus is on the work produced by International Baccalaureate Visual Art students and GCSE candidates. Even when the events aren’t taking place, a walk around these inspiring spaces reveals the creativity of our students.
